Gentry moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to Fort Collins in 2023 to join the College of Liberal Arts advising team. She earned both her BA and MA in English Literature from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

In addition to scouring the dusty shelves of used bookstores to unearth classics, she enjoys collecting & listening to vinyl records, hiking & enjoying the outdoors, and playing with her pups, Paddington & Penelope, and cat, Honey. She appreciates recommendations for great local restaurants, as well as your favorite book, vinyl, and pet stores!

Gentry and her husband are planning a trip to his hometown in Johannesburg, South Africa. She hopes to see African Wild Dogs in their native habitat!
