Jess is an Academic Success Coordinator working with students in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. She received her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin (Go Badgers) in English Literature with an emphasis in Educational Policy Studies. From there, she received her M.A. in Teaching Secondary English at the University of Northern Colorado. Jess has developed her passion for working with students over her time as a high school English teacher, an undergraduate instructor at UNC, and in serving a wide range of students who are pursuing their goals through higher education. She enjoys working alongside students at all points of their educational path and strives to help students navigate their time with CSU in a way that leads them towards personal and professional accomplishments.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys biking, fly fishing, and devouring novels. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family accompanied by good coffee, good food, and good conversation.
