Kelly McGregor is an Academic Support Coordinator working with students majoring in Political Science, International Studies, and Languages, Literatures, and Cultures. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English as well as his Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder. During his time as a student Kelly studied abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico. Before becoming an advisor at Colorado State, Kelly worked as a residence hall director for the University of Colorado where he worked closely with residential academic programs and taught several courses including Banned Books and the First Amendment, First Year Writing Seminar, as well as Comics and the Interpretive Arts. Kelly has taught for Key Communities at CSU, and currently leads a First Year Seminar Abroad program to Ireland every August.  Kelly strongly believes that an education in the Liberal Arts trains students to be strong critical thinkers and engaged global citizens. He also supports the idea that studying abroad dramatically increases the educational value of a student’s time at the University. Kelly was born and raised in Fort Collins and loves spending time in the Colorado outdoors.  He manages a slow pitch softball team (2nd base), likes to ski and mountain bike, and is an expert at the Yo-Yo.  Seriously.
